Small Wind

At Sykamore we specialise in small wind systems because we think they’re a great idea. A 10kW turbine will generate enough electricity each year to power eight households. And precisely because small turbines are small, the planning process can be much simpler and straightforward than for large commercial scale wind farms. Now, more than ever, small wind systems are affordable, reliable and highly desirable. The Government’s new Feed-in tariff means that installing a small wind system makes excellent financial sense too. To find out more click here.

Renewable Energy

Providing secure, affordable energy whilst protecting the environment is one of our greatest challenges in the 21st Century. Climate change is a natural process, but is accelerated by carbon emissions produced by our modern lifestyles. Extreme weather events are an increasing part of international news, and the United Nations Framework Convention Climate Change states that:

“The ultimate objective of the Convention is the stabilization of greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system.”
